TAMBÚ is a fascinating musical instrument that is ideal for beginners in the world of percussion.
The 8-inch steel tongue drum can be played in different ways.
When played with the hands, it produces a soft sound. Played with the fingers directly or with the fingerpicks attached, other timbres are produced.
By using the drumsticks, the sound produces an echo that is more penetrating, powerful and ethereal.
In addition to the possibility of free playing, numbers and colours are painted on the body to correspond with an accompanying songbook and guide the player.
The TAMBÚ has 11 notes and is tuned in G major.

● Score points: Players take it in turns to throw their TOSSIT darts and try to get as close to the jack (black) as possible. For each dart of their color that is closer than their opponent's, the player receives one point.A total of 13 points must be scored.
● Throwing technique: The darts are held at the end, i.e. the beginning of the wings, and thrown in an arc to achieve the best results.
